Platform:
https://account.momentio.io/login/nl (Dutch version) https://account.momentio.io/login/enu (English version)
In this document we make a distinction between the website(s) and the platform. The Website is accessible to everyone and you do not need a subscription.
The Momentio Platform is only accessible to paying subscribers. On the Platform we only use functional and session cookies.
Momentio BV is responsible for the use of cookies on our website and the Momentio platform. First read this Cookie Statement to understand how we use cookies.
1. Your Privacy
At Momentio we attach great importance to your privacy. We strive to only use cookies that actually help achieve your and our interests. If you have any questions about our use of cookies, you can contact us using the contact details at the bottom of this Cookie Statement.
You can set which cookies you want to accept on the website.
Only essential and functional cookies are used on the platform and we do not use marketing and analytical cookies.
2. What are cookies and similar techniques?
Cookies are small text files containing small amounts of information that are downloaded to (or read from) your device when you visit a website via your computer's browser, tablet or smartphone. A cookie enables the storing and retrieval of information (which may include personal data) on and from your device. The use of cookies enables Momentio to identify you when you visit our website(s) or platform again at a later time.
Javascript, web beacons and pixel tags (we do not use web beacons and pixel tags) are examples of similar techniques that can be used to collect and process information via a website. All these cookies and similar techniques are collectively referred to as “cookies” in this Cookie Statement.
3. What does Momentio do with cookies?
The cookies ensure that the website and platform work correctly and, for example, they remember your preference settings, so that Momentio can optimize its websites and platform for you. We use cookies to analyze the use of our website and how visitors navigate our websites.
4. What types of cookies does Momentio use?
Momentio places cookies for the following purposes:
Functional cookies. A number of the cookies we place are essential for the proper functioning of our websites and platform. In almost all cases we do not have to ask for your permission for these cookies, as those cookies have no privacy impact. Other functional cookies are used to provide website and platform functionalities, such as the ability to save preference settings (for example your language), to display error messages and to facilitate logging in to our websites and platform.
Session cookies, also known as temporary cookies or non-persistent cookies, are small pieces of information that are temporarily stored on a user's computer or device during an internet browsing session. They are used to store data relevant to the current session and are usually deleted automatically once the user closes the browser. Session cookies play an important role in supporting basic functionalities on websites, such as remembering logged in users or showing personalized content during a specific session.
We only use analytical cookies to measure the use of our websites and to analyze how visitors navigate our websites. We do not do this on our platform. The information we collect through these cookies is used to improve the user-friendliness of our websites. The information we collect includes our web pages that you have visited, what referring or other web pages you came from, what web pages you opened, clicked or viewed, the number of clicks you make on a particular web page and your scrolling activity.
The analytical cookies that have no or limited impact on your privacy, or for example if we use a third party to measure these insights and the settings of those cookies are privacy-friendly, are placed without your prior permission. This only concerns the website and not the platform.
Momentio limits the number of third-party cookies placed on our websites. We will place these cookies that, for example, allow us to distinguish you from other website visitors for analytical purposes, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns or to enable you to view social media content.
Regarding duration, we can use two different types of cookies:
Session cookies. These cookies are temporary cookies that remain on your device until you leave our websites or close the browser; and
Persistent cookies. These cookies remain on your device for a longer period of time or until you manually disable or delete them (how long the cookie remains on your device depends on the lifespan of the specific cookie, as well as your browser settings, as mentioned below under ' How can you disable or delete cookies?').
5. How can you disable cookies?
You can always manage the cookies we place on our websites, for example by adjusting your browser settings. If you want to disable cookies that have previously been placed, receive a notification when a cookie is placed on your device, or delete all stored cookies on your device, you can set this via your browser settings (often found under “Help” or “Internet Options” in your browser).
If you delete some or all cookies that Momentio uses, this may affect your experience on our websites, for example by no longer being able to see certain parts of a website (completely) or by not receiving personalized content when you visit a Momentio website.
If you use different devices to visit our websites (for example via your computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.), you must ensure that each browser on each device is adapted to your cookie preferences. For more information about your opt-out options, see https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/ or https://www.aboutads.info/choices .

You also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority (in the Netherlands this is the Dutch Data Protection Authority). However, it may be advisable to contact us first so we can see if we can solve it together.
7. Updates and changes to the Cookie Statement
Momentio may make changes to this Cookie Statement. In the event that we make important changes, Momentio may decide to inform you about the changes and offer you the opportunity to change your cookie settings.
